Custom illustration series designed to make complex cryptocurrency and financial concepts accessible to mainstream users through clear visual storytelling and educational graphics.
I expanded BitPay's existing illustration library by creating additional explanatory graphics that maintain consistency with our foundational FormFrom illustration set. Working within the established visual style and brand guidelines, I developed targeted illustrations to fill specific educational gaps around complex cryptocurrency topics and trending financial concepts, ensuring seamless integration with the existing visual language while addressing BitPay's unique user education needs.
As Lead Product Designer, I identified key areas where users struggled with crypto concepts and developed targeted illustrations to address these knowledge gaps. I worked within BitPay's brand guidelines while expanding the visual vocabulary to cover complex topics like blockchain transactions, DeFi lending, wallet security, and market trends. My approach focused on progressive disclosure through visuals, making sophisticated financial concepts approachable for users regardless of their crypto experience level.
